Job Title: Packaging Line Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Packaging Line Supervisor to oversee daily packaging operations in our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Ota, Ogun State. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production, strict compliance with GMP standards, and adherence to quality and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate activities on the pharmaceutical packaging line (blistering, bottling, labeling, cartoning, etc.).

Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and regulatory requirements.

Monitor production targets and ensure timely achievement of daily output.

Conduct line clearance and ensure proper documentation before and after production runs.

Maintain accurate batch records and packaging documentation.

Ensure proper operation, cleaning, and maintenance of packaging equipment.

Identify and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime.

Train and guide packaging operators and line workers.

Enforce health, safety, and quality standards at all times.

Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Production, and Maintenance teams for smooth operations

.

Requirements

HND/B.Sc. in Pharmacy, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.

2–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical packaging operations.

Good knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical regulatory standards.

Experience with packaging machinery and line supervision.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Good documentation and reporting skills.

Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
