Optometrist
Job summary
The Optometrists will be responsible for examining, diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders of the visual system, eye diseases, and injuries. Such will prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses as needed, diagnose problems or impairments and provide treatment for patients.

Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough routine eye inspections.
- Identify the patient’s visual alertness, field of vision, and hand-eye coordination.
- Diagnose sight problems, such as nearsightedness and colour blindness.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and medications.
- Maintain accurate medical files for all patients.
- Promote eye health by teaching patients about proper eye care techniques.
- Identify and assess eye defects and diseases
- Record all diagnoses and treatment plans, including transfers and therapeutic prescriptions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience post-NYSC in Optometry from reputable Eye Clinic(s)
- Valid Practicing License.
- Be able to use Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) for work, reports, and presentations.
- Must have records of proven competence.
