Job summary
The School Operations supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day non-academic operations of the school, ensuring that all facilities, health and safety, transport, security, and support services operate efficiently to provide an outstanding learning environment for students and staff.

Operations Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the school.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.

Facilities Management:
- Ensure all classrooms, offices, laboratories, toilets, and common areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and renovation projects.
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
- Ensure utilities and equipment remain functional.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Implement emergency response procedures and evacuation drills.
- Supervise school security personnel and visitor management.
- Monitor safeguarding practices across the operational area
- Prepare operational budgets.
- Monitor operational expenditure.
- Obtain quotations and negotiate with suppliers.
- Ensure value for money in all purchases.
- Maintain procurement records.
- Oversee school transport services.
- Ensure school vehicles are properly maintained.
- Coordinate transportation for excursions and school activities.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and school policies.
- Maintain operational records required for inspections and accreditation.
- Support quality assurance initiatives.
- Respond professionally to parents' operational concerns.
- Ensure a welcoming environment for visitors.
- Support admissions and school events when required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
- A master's degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in operations or administrative management.
- Previous experience in a school environment is highly desirable.
- Experience supervising teams and managing budgets.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Financial and budgeting knowledge.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school management systems.
