Job summary

The Operations Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the company's day-to-day activities to ensure smooth and efficient business operations. The successful candidate will oversee inventory management, order fulfillment, logistics, customer service, staff performance, and operational strategy.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operational activities across all departments.
  • Manage inventory control and stock replenishment processes.
  • Supervise order processing, packaging, and delivery operations.
  • Coordinate logistics and ensure timely customer deliveries.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
  • Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze operational data and prepare performance reports.
  • Lead, train, and motivate operational staff.
  • Improve workflow efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage operational budgets and cost-control initiatives.
  • Resolve operational challenges and customer service escalations.
  • Support business expansion and strategic growth initiatives.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in operations management.
  • Experience in retail, e-commerce, FMCG, supermarket, grocery, logistics, or supply chain operations is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing business operations.
  • Strong understanding of operations management principles.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and logistics processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and people-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High level of accountability and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
