Job summary

As an Operations Assistant, you will support daily delivery coordination and inventory operations, working closely with the orders team, kitchen staff, and delivery partners. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

Dispatch & Delivery Coordination:

  • Coordinate delivery bookings with dispatch riders and logistics partners.
  • Work closely with the Remote Orders Associate to receive, verify, and coordinate customer delivery information accurately.
  • Share accurate pickup and delivery details with riders.
  • Monitor delivery progress and provide updates where necessary.
  • Confirm successful order delivery with customers when required.
  • Escalate delivery delays or operational issues promptly.
  • Ensure customer delivery information is properly documented and communicated internally.


Inventory Support:

  • Assist with daily inventory tracking and stock monitoring.
  • Record stock usage and update inventory sheets accurately.
  • Monitor low-stock items and report shortages promptly.
  • Support ingredient and packaging, stock counts.
  • Assist in organising storage areas and maintaining inventory orderliness.
  • Help reduce wastage through proper stock handling and monitoring.


Operational Support:

  • Assist with daily operational coordination tasks.
  • Support order tracking and fulfilment updates.
  • Maintain operational logs and basic reports.
  • Ensure operational information is updated accurately across trackers and records.
  • Support smooth communication between operations, kitchen, and customer service teams.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of OND qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience in operations support, logistics coordination, dispatch, or inventory support is an advantage
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Basic proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work on-site in Asokoro, Abuja

  • Delivery Coordination Accuracy – Minimal dispatch errors
  • On-Time Delivery Support Rate – ≥ 95%
  • Inventory Record Accuracy – Updated and accurate stock records
  • Response Time to Operational Issues – Prompt escalation and follow-up
  • Operational Reporting Accuracy – Complete and timely updates
  • Reduction in Stock Discrepancies and Fulfilment Errors
