Operation Manager

• Oversee the daily operations of the wine shop and ensure smooth business activities.
• Manage stock levels, monitor inventory, and prevent stock shortages, damage, and losses.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and display of wines and other beverages.
• Supervise sales attendants, cashiers, and other shop personnel.
• Monitor sales performance, set targets, and implement strategies to increase revenue.
• Manage customer enquiries, complaints, and relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate purchasing, stock replenishment, and relationships with suppliers.
• Monitor daily sales, cash handling, expenses, and sales records.
• Ensure accurate pricing, product labelling, and stock documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and attractive product displays within the shop.
• Ensure compliance with applicable business regulations and alcohol sales requirements.
• Prepare daily and monthly sales, inventory, and operational reports for management.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, reduce costs, and grow the customer base.

Requirements:

• HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in retail operations, preferably in a wine shop, liquor store, supermarket, or beverage retail business.
• Good knowledge of wines, spirits, and other alcoholic beverages is an advantage.
• Strong sales, customer service, inventory management, and leadership skills.
• Basic accounting and cash-handling knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Honesty, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
