Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and manage a sales territory to maximize sales opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and gather information on competitors.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the local market.
- Meet with potential and existing clients in person to understand their needs and present appropriate products/services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations to close sales deals.
- Execute door-to-door sales, in-store promotions, trade shows, and other offline sales activities to generate leads and close deals.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through consistent and effective sales efforts.
- Provide customers with detailed product information and handle any questions or concerns they may have.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback using CRM software.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management, including sales forecasts, activity summaries, and territory performance.
- Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and make data-driven adjustments.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns and product launches.
- Participate in regular sales meetings to share insights and contribute to the overall sales strategy.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion within the assigned territory
Requirements:
- BSc/HND in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in a field-based or offline sales role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
