Nursery Teacher
Job summary
The Nursery Teacher provides early childhood education through structured play, literacy development, numeracy foundations, and emotional nurturing. The role supports children aged 2-5 during formative development stages.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons that support early learning goals.
- Teach basic literacy, numeracy, phonics, music, storytelling, and motor skills.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
- Observe and document children’s progress.
- Communicate reports to parents on child development.
- Ensure children’s hygiene, safety, and well-being.
- Help children settle into routines and transitions.
- Manage classroom behavior positively.
- Collaborate with assistant teachers and other early years staff.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or related field.
- Teaching qualification (NCE, PGDE, TRCN certification preferable).
- Minimum of 1 year teaching experience.
- Excellent classroom management
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Creativity and the ability to engage young learners.
- Warm patient, empathy, and strong instructional skills
- Nurturing personality
- Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, ethical conduct, and integrity.
- Confidentiality and student welfare awareness.
Work Conditions
