Job Summary
We are looking for a full-time, Nurse Practitioner to join our reputable team of professionals to provide primary health care within our facility. The ideal candidate is one who has a kind and nurturing personality and is able to communicate excellently. The successful candidate will report to the Head Nurse.
- Minimum Qualification: HND
- Experience Level: Entry level
- Experience Length: 2 years
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care.
- Perform physical exams and patient observations
Record patients’ details, current health symptoms, and medical history
Prepare patients for exams and treatment
Administer medications and treatments, then monitor patients for side effects and reactions
Create, implement, and evaluate patient care plans with the medical team
Administer diagnostic tests, medicine, and other treatments
Monitor and operate medical equipment
Perform wound care, and modify treatment plans, as needed,
Assist with medical procedures as needed
Operate and monitor medical equipment
Collect blood samples, urine samples, and other body fluids for lab work
Answer patients’ questions and educate them and their family members on treatment and care plans
Requirements:
A nursing degree or certificate
Excellent written and verbal communication
Willing to learn and able to work in a multicultural team.
Detail-oriented and able to maintain meticulous records.
Proficient with medical equipment required to perform nursing work.
Knowledgeable about computer use and data management solutions.
