Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Nupe Language Digital Instructor based in Abuja, with the flexibility to occasionally work from home. The role involves teaching the Nupe language using digital tools, creating lesson plans, preparing instructional materials, and delivering engaging online and in-person classes. The instructor will be responsible for evaluating student progress, providing feedback, and fostering an inclusive and interactive learning environment. Additionally, the role may involve contributing to curriculum development and collaborating with the team to promote language education initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in Language Teaching and Teaching with a focus on delivering effective instruction and fostering student engagement
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and creating structured educational materials to support diverse learning styles
• Strong background in Education and Literature, with the ability to incorporate cultural and historical contexts into lessons
• Fluency in the Nupe language and excellent communication skills in both spoken and written formats
• Experience with digital learning tools and online teaching platforms is advantageous
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Linguistics, or a related field
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and adapt to hybrid work environments
