Night Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Delegating Tasks: Assigning specific duties to the night team and ensuring productivity and efficiency throughout the shift.
• Training and Development: Assisting with the orientation of new employees and ensuring all staff adhere to company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Performance Monitoring: Overseeing staff attendance, addressing excessive breaks, and resolving any conflicts that may arise among the team.
• Access Control: Locking up premises, arming security systems, and conducting regular perimeter walks to keep the facility safe from unauthorized entry.
• Emergency Response: Taking charge during emergencies (such as fires or severe weather events), ensuring evacuation protocols are followed, and contacting emergency services if needed.
• Compliance: Ensuring the workplace adheres to health and safety regulations, identifying hazards, and minimizing workplace risks.
• Issue Resolution: Addressing and resolving customer complaints or urgent inquiries that occur during the shift, ensuring a high standard of client/guest satisfaction.
• Customer Support: Processing requests and ensuring seamless service delivery while regular senior management is off-duty.
• Reporting & Handovers: Compiling shift reports to brief morning management, highlighting operational issues, incidents, and ongoing quality problems.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring supply levels, restocking areas during the shift, and logging inventory usage.
• Quality Control: Conducting periodic inspections to ensure products or services (e.g., room cleanliness, warehouse dispatch accuracy) meet required quality standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of OND in any field with at least one year of proven track record in facility management and janitorial services
• Ability to lead, plan, and coordinate Janitorial Operations
• 1 - 2 years of supervisory work experience
