Responsibilities:
- Edit and proofread news articles for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and style.
- Review and verify news stories before publication.
- Monitor breaking news, current affairs, and emerging trends.
- Assign stories to writers and coordinate editorial content.
- Develop headlines and ensure content is engaging and reader-friendly.
- Ensure all published content meets editorial and ethical standards.
- Work with reporters, writers, graphic artists, and other media teams.
- Manage the daily news publishing schedule.
- Identify trending topics and recommend relevant stories.
- Ensure news content is properly researched and fact-checked.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of a BSC
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
