Network Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
• Record and track IT assets, including hardware, software, and network devices.
• Manage IT inventory using Microsoft Excel and ensure data accuracy.
• Perform periodic inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Track asset allocation, transfers, repairs, and disposals.
• Generate inventory and asset status reports.
• Support change management by updating CMDB records following approved changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets and configurations.
• Work with IT teams to ensure compliance with asset management procedures.
• Support network and IT operations as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of an HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Network Support, CMDB, or IT Asset Management.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, IF Functions).
• Basic knowledge of networking and IT infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.

• Accuracy of CMDB records.
• Accuracy of IT inventory records.
• Timely update of asset and configuration information.
• Inventory reconciliation accuracy.
• Timely submission of inventory reports.
