Responsibilities:
- Ensures all the IT systems that support business function efficiently by designing, building, deploying, modifying, and maintaining the IT network and audio-visual infrastructure.
- Perform a wide range of network administration duties, including installations, debugging, maintenance, upgrades, and general support for network equipment.
- Design solutions to meet strategic needs and assess current systems to ensure best practices and compliance with approved policies and procedures.
- Evaluate, test, and deploy all software and hardware upgrades to the networking infrastructure.
- Perform maintenance activities in line with approved schedule in collaboration with vendors
- Assist in the configuration and deployment of core and peripheral network devices, which will require continuous learning of new devices (i.e., Cisco Firepower, ASR routers, and long-haul optical equipment).
- Proactive monitoring of all network devices, services, and servers using a combination of tools to ensure high availability and SLAs.
- Collect and review network utilization data for capacity and planning purposes
- Test, monitor, and initiate the deployment of regular patches to fix new vulnerabilities.
- Prepare weekly reports on ICT infrastructure state and monitor the ICT dashboard for potential bottlenecks.
- Establish and maintain structures and procedures to provide timely, effective, proactive, and efficient user support.
- Assist in developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans.
- Interface with vendors for procurement of all IT systems and infrastructures.
- Manage and troubleshoot network and Internet connectivity throughout the organization.
- Provide level 2 end-user support and issue resolution.
- Ensure good working condition of all deployed audio-visual devices, collate feedback, and work closely with all relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
- BSc. Degree in Electrical Engineering or any engineering course
- Minimum of 3 years of experience is required
- Candidates Residing at Ibeju Lekki Axis and Its Environs are highly preferred.
