Job summary
The Network, Cloud & Cybersecurity Professional will be responsible for supporting and managing the organisation’s network infrastructure, server environments, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity operations. The role requires a technically strong professional with 4–6+ years of practical industry experience.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Deliver instructor-led training in Networking, Cloud Computing, Systems Administration and Cybersecurity.
- Facilitate practical training aligned with CCNA and relevant CCNP-level networking concepts.
- Train students on network fundamentals, TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, switching, VLANs, WAN technologies, wireless networking and network troubleshooting.
- Conduct practical networking laboratories using physical equipment, network simulators and other appropriate training tools.
- Deliver practical training in Windows Server administration, including server configuration, user and access management, Active Directory and related services.
- Provide hands-on training in Linux system administration, configuration, permissions, networking and basic security administration.
- Deliver relevant Microsoft Azure training, including virtual machines, networking, identity and access management, storage, monitoring and cloud administration.
- Teach cybersecurity fundamentals, network security, system hardening, vulnerability assessment, security monitoring and ethical-hacking concepts within approved training environments.
- Demonstrate the use of appropriate cybersecurity and network diagnostic tools in controlled laboratory environments.
- Develop and update training materials, lesson plans, laboratory exercises, assessments and practical projects in line with approved curriculum requirements.
- Assess students through assignments, practical exercises, examinations, projects and laboratory activities.
- Monitor students' learning progress and provide appropriate academic and technical support.
- Prepare students for relevant professional certification examinations and industry requirements.
- Maintain accurate training, attendance, assessment and student-performance records.
- Ensure training laboratories, networking equipment, servers and other technical resources are properly configured and ready for practical sessions.
- Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of training infrastructure where required.
- Keep abreast of developments in networking, cloud technologies, cybersecurity and systems administration and incorporate relevant developments into training delivery.
- Collaborate with management, faculty members and other technical personnel to improve curriculum quality and training outcomes.
- Participate in curriculum reviews, faculty development activities, technical workshops and other programmes organised by CPMS/Tech Terminal.
- Perform other training and technical responsibilities reasonably assigned by management.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience
- A minimum of a degree in a related field
