Role Description

This is a Part-time hybrid role for a Netherlands (Dutch) Tutor, based in Lagos. The DutchTutor will be responsible for delivering comprehensive and engaging Dutch language lessons, creating tailored lesson plans, and assessing the progress of learners. This position requires conducting class sessions both in physical classrooms and in virtual settings, depending on the need. Additional responsibilities include offering cultural insights to enhance language acquisition and maintaining effective communication with students to foster their progress and confidence in learning Dutch.
Qualifications

• Fluency in Dutch with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• Experience in language instruction, lesson planning, and curriculum development.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet different learning styles and proficiency levels.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to deliver both in-person and virtual lessons.
• Passion for language learning and cultural exchange.
• Familiarity with digital tools for virtual teaching environments (e.g., Zoom, educational platforms) is an advantage.
• Previous experience in language teaching, particularly Dutch, is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience will also be considered.
