National Sales Manager
Job summary
The successful candidate shall be responsible for and own strategy, planning, execution and supervision of sales and marketing function for the company. Reporting to the GM, he/she will propose sales, market and marketing objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective, data-driven sales strategies to achieve national targets and commercial budgets.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate regional sales managers and sales representatives to build a high-performing team.
- Establish and nurture long-lasting relationships with key distributors, corporate clients, and strategic partners.
- Monitor performance metrics, establish KPIs, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
- Coordinate closely with Marketing, Product Development, and Finance teams to ensure brand consistency and seamless product delivery.
- Map out zoning, routing, and distribution plans (frequently required in regional markets like Nigeria) to ensure product availability and visibility.
Requirements:
- B.Pharm degree or equivalent. Possession of an MBA a definite advantage
- 5-7 years’ experience in team leadership, including multinational and indigenous-concerns work environment. Candidates currently holding similar positions in Nigeria are preferred
- Regional Sales Leader with at least 5 years’ sales management experience, track record of performance, and multinational environment/large indigenous company experience may be considered
- Strong hospital and ethical brand –awareness/demand-generation experience is absolutely required
- Demonstrable experience in managing a sales team of not less than 25
- Positive track record, superior sales and marketing performance across regions and segments
- Strong commercial and business sense
- Problem-solver, result-oriented and intrapreneural, self-directed and self-motivated, self-starter with definite ability to work without significant supervision,
- Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Above average ability to use Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- High integrity index
