Role Description The National Director is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lagos, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities. This role oversees the national vision, strategy, and operations of Pais Movement | Life On Mission, ensuring alignment with the organization’s global mission and values. Day-to-day tasks include leading and mentoring staff and volunteers, coordinating national programs, and developing partnerships with churches, schools, and other organizations. The National Director manages budgets, fundraising initiatives, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with organizational policies. The role also involves speaking at events, representing Pais in external meetings, and collaborating with international leaders to implement best practices and grow the movement in Nigeria.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills, including strategic planning, team supervision, and decision-making in a mission-driven or non-profit context.
- Strong relationship-building abilities, with experience developing partnerships with churches, ministries, schools, or community organizations.
- Excellent communication skills, including public speaking, presentation, and clear written communication for reports, proposals, and stakeholder updates.
- Proven organizational and administrative skills, including budgeting, project management, and basic reporting or data tracking.
- Experience in Christian ministry, discipleship, or missions, with a willingness to model and promote the values and beliefs of Pais Movement | Life On Mission.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing in-person leadership in Lagos with remote coordination and online collaboration.
- A Bachelors Degree in any field
- Experience leading or supporting youth, church, or leadership development programs is an advantage, especially within a multicultural or international setting.
