Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons.
- Teach music theory, notation, rhythm, composition, and performance.
- Organise practical music activities and performances.
- Develop students’ vocal and/or instrumental abilities.
- Prepare students for school events and musical performances.
- Assess students’ musical development and academic progress.
- Encourage creativity and participation in music activities.
- Maintain appropriate musical equipment and resources.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/HND in Music, Music Education, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of music theory and practical performance.
- Ability to play at least one musical instrument is an advantage.
- Teaching experience is an advantage.
- Good communication and classroom-management skills.
- Creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
