Motion Graphic Designer – TEDxMaitama

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Motion Graphic Designer to bring our stories, speakers, and ideas to life through compelling visual motion content.
This role goes beyond design—you will shape how our audience experiences TEDxMaitama across digital platforms, campaigns, and live events.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality motion graphics and animations for:
- Social media campaigns
- Speaker announcements
- Event promotions and trailers
- Post-event highlight videos
- Design animated assets for LED screens and live event visuals
- Collaborate with the content, media, and design teams to develop creative concepts
- Translate ideas and scripts into engaging visual storytelling formats
- Ensure all motion designs align with TEDx brand guidelines
- Optimize content for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Work within tight timelines and deliver high-quality outputs consistently
Requirements
- Proven experience in motion graphics and animation
- Proficiency in tools such as:
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Illustrator / Photoshop
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and execute independently
- Experience creating content for social media and digital campaigns
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Nice to Have
- Experience working with events, conferences, or media brands
- Knowledge of sound design and video editing
- Familiarity with TED / TEDx style and storytelling formats
- Basic 3D animation skills (Cinema 4D, Blender, etc.)
