Role Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Motion Graphic Designer to bring TEDxMaitama’s ideas to life through compelling motion visuals. You will play a key role in shaping how our stories are experienced across digital platforms—before, during, and after our events.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce motion graphics for TEDxMaitama content, including event promos, speaker announcements, countdowns, teasers, and post-event highlights
• Animate text, logos, illustrations, and video elements in line with TED/TEDx brand guidelines
• Collaborate closely with the media, design, and content teams to translate concepts into engaging motion visuals
• Edit and adapt motion assets for multiple platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, event screens, etc.)
• Ensure consistency in visual storytelling, pacing, and overall brand look and feel
• Work within timelines and respond to creative feedback efficiently

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Motion Graphic Designer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop (Cinema 4D or Blender is an advantage)
• Solid understanding of typography, color, composition, and animation principles
• Ability to tell clear, emotionally resonant stories through motion
• Experience creating content for social media and digital campaigns
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a fast-moving creative team
