Job summary
The Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting (MER) Analyst will support the effective implementation of the iDICE BPO South-West Programme by managing programme monitoring, data analysis, performance reporting, and learning activities.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement monitoring, evaluation, and reporting processes to measure programme performance against approved work plans, targets, and donor requirements.
- Collect, validate, analyse, and maintain programme data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency, and data integrity.
- Develop and maintain programme monitoring tools, databases, dashboards, and reporting systems to track programme outputs, outcomes, and impact.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess progress against programme objectives, identifying risks, trends, and areas requiring corrective action.
- Verify beneficiary enrolment, training completion, employment outcomes, and other programme results through routine data validation and quality assurance processes.
- Coordinate surveys, assessments, beneficiary feedback exercises, field monitoring visits, and other data collection activities to support programme evaluation.
- Monitor Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) indicators and ensure the collection, analysis, and reporting of gender- and disability-disaggregated data.
- Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualisations using Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and other reporting tools to support programme management and donor reporting.
- Prepare high-quality monitoring reports, performance reports, donor reports, presentations, and management dashboards in accordance with reporting timelines.
- Analyse programme data to identify trends, lessons learned, and opportunities for continuous improvement, providing recommendations to enhance programme effectiveness.
- Collaborate with programme teams to strengthen data management practices, improve reporting quality, and promote evidence-based decision-making.
- Conduct routine data quality assessments (DQAs), audits, and verification exercises to ensure compliance with donor standards and organisational policies.
- Maintain accurate monitoring documentation, reporting templates, and programme records in preparation for donor reviews, audits, and evaluations.
- Ensure all monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities comply with donor requirements, programme guidelines, safeguarding standards, and organisational policies.
- Perform any other duties assigned to support the successful implementation of the iDICE BPO South-West Programme.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Monitoring & Evaluation, Data Science, Social Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, programme reporting, research, or performance management.
- Experience working on donor-funded programmes, workforce development initiatives, or development projects is highly desirable.
- Experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools for reporting and data visualisation is an advantage.
- Experience working on donor-funded programmes, workforce development initiatives, or within the BPO sector is an advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other data analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation frameworks, data quality assurance, and donor reporting requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid, fast-paced environment and travel within the South-West region as required.
