Job Summary
As the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager in the NGO/Education sector, you will play a vital role in assessing, strategizing, and implementing initiatives under the Education Sector Plan and Strategic Plan. Your extensive expertise will be crucial in transforming the educational landscape through various mechanisms, focusing on all spheres of education from ECCDE to Tertiary, including the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement a comprehensive M&E system to continuously track the progress of the organization's Education Transformation projects.
- Regularly conduct capacity development for key project partner officers, enhancing their skills in Strategic Planning, M&E, and Research through training and coaching.
- Review key sector plans and policies, and facilitate the development of medium-term sector plans for the years 2025-2027, as well as yearly strategic plans starting from 2025 to improve sector budget performance.
- Manage the performance of the organization’s projects, including Planning, Monitoring, Measurement, Evaluation, and Reporting.
- Develop an M&E Framework to guide project implementation, results monitoring, and measurement, including input, output, outcome, and impact monitoring.
- Oversee baseline surveys and periodic results measurement and assessments, including needs assessment, learning assessments, and whole-child/whole-school assessments.
- Prepare log frame indicator baseline and periodic measurement reports.
- Support the development and review of activity reports, research reports, and periodic progress reports.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor the project implementation plan and activity tracker.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- A relevant advanced degree in education, business, statistics, economics, finance, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of proven direct M&E experience, preferably in the education or nonprofit sector.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong strategic thinking and vision-setting abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain partnerships.
- Knowledge of education reform trends and best practices.
- Analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
