Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ama-Awji for a Molecular Biology Science Instructor at DNALC Nigeria. The instructor will be responsible for delivering curriculum-based molecular biology and biotechnology courses, planning and conducting hands-on laboratory sessions, and guiding students and teachers in the science education process. Additional responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, maintaining laboratory equipment, and contributing to the development of new teaching materials to align with DNALC’s mission and vision.

Qualifications

• Background in Science Education, with strong knowledge in Molecular Biology, Physics, and Mathematics
• Qualified Teacher with fluency in lesson planning and curriculum development
• Excellent communication and instructional skills to engage students and educators
• Ability to manage laboratory equipment and ensure safety measures are followed
• M.Sc. or advanced degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related field preferred
• Prior experience teaching or providing hands-on training in science education is an advantage
• Passion for advancing science education in Nigeria and Africa
