Role Description This full-time Mobile App Product Manager and QA role is a hybrid position based in Lekki, with flexibility for some work from home. The role involves owning the product lifecycle for mobile applications, from defining requirements and features to coordinating design, development, and release. The Mobile App Product Manager and QA will translate business goals into clear product roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, and collaborate with engineering, design, and stakeholder teams. Daily activities include creating and refining user stories, reviewing designs and builds, planning sprints, and monitoring product performance metrics. The role also requires designing and executing test plans, performing functional and regression testing, tracking defects, and ensuring high-quality mobile app releases that meet user and business needs.
Qualifications
- Strong product strategy and product management skills, with experience shaping product vision and roadmap.
- Hands-on experience with mobile applications, including understanding of mobile platforms, user experience, and app store ecosystems.
- Solid analytical skills and familiarity with product and quality metrics to inform decisions and improvements.
- Demonstrated project management abilities, including planning, coordination, and delivery across cross-functional teams.
- Experience with software QA practices, test planning, test case design, and defect management tools.
- Comfort working in agile environments (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and using tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Background in mobile product management or QA for consumer or enterprise apps is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Lekki in a hybrid arrangement and manage responsibilities independently when working from home.
