Mixologists

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of cocktails, mocktails and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Develop creative and unique cocktail recipes that suit the restaurant's menu and brand.
• Understand different types of spirits, wines, liqueurs, bitters, syrups, garnishes and mixers.
• Recommend suitable drinks to customers based on their preferences.
• Prepare drinks according to standard recipes, measurements and presentation guidelines.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, quantity and presentation of all beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of the bar, equipment and workstations.
• Monitor bar inventory and report low-stock items to the supervisor.
• Ensure proper storage, handling and preservation of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Minimise wastage through proper measurement and responsible use of ingredients.
• Monitor beverage stock levels and assist with regular stocktaking.
• Ensure all bar equipment, including cocktail shakers, blenders, strainers and glassware, are properly maintained.
• Interact professionally with customers and provide an enjoyable bar experience.
• Promote specialty cocktails, premium drinks and beverage offers to increase sales.
• Ensure customers are served responsibly and follow applicable alcohol-service regulations.
• Work closely with waiters, bartenders, kitchen staff and management to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Report damaged equipment, customer complaints, stock discrepancies and operational challenges to management.
• Comply with all hygiene, food safety, health and safety standards.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience
  
• A minimum of an OND in a related field
