About The Role
We are seeking a driven, energetic, and results-oriented Medical Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling a wide range of medical equipment and healthcare solutions to hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, laboratories, pharmacies, and other healthcare institutions.
The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong customer relationships, provide product demonstrations, negotiate sales, and consistently achieve revenue targets while representing the company professionally.
Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell the company's portfolio of medical equipment and healthcare products.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, diagnostic centres, laboratories, pharmacies, specialist clinics, and healthcare professionals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market intelligence.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate medical equipment solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Negotiate pricing and close sales while maintaining healthy profit margins.
  • Meet and exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Follow up on quotations, inquiries, and pending sales opportunities to maximize conversions.
  • Coordinate product deliveries and ensure timely installation where applicable.
  • Work closely with the technical and service teams to ensure excellent after-sales support.
  • Provide customers with product training and basic operational guidance where required.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline opportunities using CRM tools or sales reports.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends, providing regular market intelligence to management.
  • Participate in medical exhibitions, conferences, product launches, and promotional events.
  • Prepare weekly sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for the Sales Manager.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive communication and excellent service delivery.
  • Comply with company policies, ethical sales practices, and industry regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Medical Laboratory Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, or any related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in medical equipment, medical devices, healthcare products, pharmaceuticals, or related industries.
  • Experience selling to hospitals, laboratories, diagnostic centres, or healthcare institutions will be an added advantage.
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of consultative selling techniques and customer relationship management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with CRM software is an advantage.
