Medical Sales Rep
Job summary
The Medical Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling the company’s pharmaceutical, healthcare, and consumer products to healthcare professionals, pharmacies, hospitals, distributors, and other relevant customers.

- Achieve and exceed assigned monthly sales and collection targets.
- Promote and sell assigned pharmaceutical and healthcare products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with pharmacies, hospitals, doctors, clinics, distributors, and other healthcare customers.
- Conduct regular customer and product visits within the assigned territory.
- Generate new customer accounts and expand existing accounts.
- Present product information and communicate product benefits professionally.
- Follow up on quotations, orders, outstanding invoices, and customer payments.
- Monitor customer credit and ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales activities, orders, and collections on the company CRM.
- Provide regular sales and market intelligence reports to management.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, product availability, and market trends.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential high-value accounts.
- Ensure effective distribution and availability of assigned products within the territory.
- Work closely with the Sales Manager and other team members to achieve company objectives.
- Maintain professional conduct and comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other sales-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/HND in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, medical, healthcare, FMCG, or B2B sales.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Experience selling pharmaceutical products to pharmacies, hospitals, healthcare professionals, or distributors is an advantage.
- Strong customer relationship and account-management skills.
- Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical/healthcare market.
- Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage an assigned territory effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Must be comfortable with extensive fieldwork and regular customer visits.
- A valid driver's licence and ability to drive is an advantage.
