Job summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Oncologist to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with cancer using non-surgical methods such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive cancer care while working closely with a multidisciplinary oncology team.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage various types of cancer and hematologic malignancies
- Develop individualized cancer treatment plans based on diagnosis and staging
- Administer and supervise chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy
- Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust care plans as needed
- Manage side effects and complications of cancer treatment
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and palliative care teams
- Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and families
- Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case discussions
- Ensure accurate documentation of treatment plans and patient progress
- Participate in on-call oncology coverage and emergency consultations
- Contribute to cancer prevention, awareness, and early detection programs
- Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and oncology guidelines
Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
- Fellowship in Internal Medicine and specialization in Oncology (FWACP, FMCP, MRCP, or equivalent)
- Subspecialty training in Medical Oncology
- Valid practicing license with MDCN
- Minimum of 5–10 years post-specialist experience
- Strong knowledge of cancer biology, chemotherapy protocols, and modern oncology treatments
- Excellent communication, empathy, and decision-making skills
