Responsibilities:
- Examine patients and obtain detailed medical histories.
- Diagnose and manage common medical conditions.
- Develop appropriate treatment and care plans.
- Prescribe medications and provide clear instructions to patients.
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment when necessary.
- Request and interpret laboratory and other diagnostic investigations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
- Provide health education and preventive healthcare advice.
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
- Collaborate with nurses, laboratory staff, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and healthcare standards.
