Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Collect, label, and process patient samples (blood, urine, stool, swabs, etc.) following standard protocols.
- Conduct routine laboratory tests.
- Accurately record and analyze test results, and report findings to the laboratory scientist/medical director.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration and quality control checks.
- Adhere strictly to laboratory safety, infection control, and ethical guidelines.
- Ensure proper documentation of results and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels of reagents and consumables.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in collecting, labeling, and processing various patient samples
- Ability to conduct routine laboratory tests accurately and efficiently under minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail in recording, analyzing, and reporting test results.
- Skilled in operating, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory instruments while performing regular quality control checks.
