Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Performing routine laboratory investigations accurately and efficiently
- Sample collection, processing, and proper documentation
- Performing and interpreting laboratory tests within professional scope
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring proper quality control
- Maintaining accurate patient and laboratory records
- Following laboratory safety, infection prevention and quality assurance protocols
- Working effectively with clinicians and other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- BMLS or equivalent qualification
- Valid professional registration/licence
- Relevant laboratory experience
- Good knowledge of routine medical laboratory procedures
- Attention to detail, reliability and good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Experience using LIS or EMR.
