Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Updating Electronic Health Records (EHR), filing medical documents, and assisting with basic medical coding and billing.
- Measuring and recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) and documenting medical history or current symptoms.
- Escorting patients to exam rooms, preparing equipment, and assisting physicians during physical exams or minor procedures.
- Performing basic point-of-care testing (e.g., urine analysis, rapid strep tests), collecting specimen samples, operating EKGs, and drawing blood (phlebotomy).
- Administering routine oral medications, vaccinations, or injections under direct supervisor guidance.
- Explaining physician instructions, dietary changes, or medication schedules, and providing post-visit care guidelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of SSCE.
- 2 years of experience in Public health/Health science.
