Job Title: Mechanical Sales Engineer

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Summary

The Mechanical Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting and selling mechanical engineering products, solutions, and services to both new and existing clients. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and sales acumen to understand customer needs, develop tailored engineering solutions, deliver compelling proposals, and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

·      Identify and pursue new business opportunities while achieving assigned sales targets.

·      Develop and present technical proposals, quotations, and customised engineering solutions to clients.

·      Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing guidance and after-sales technical support.

·      Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and internal sales teams to ensure accurate solutions and timely delivery.

·      Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.

Requirements

·      Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

3–5 years of proven experience in mechanical sales engineering.

·      Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, and engineering solutions.

·      Demonstrated ability to develop proposals, close sales deals, and meet sales targets.

·      Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

·      Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into customer-oriented solutions.

·      Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

·      High level of professionalism, problem-solving ability, and commercial awareness.

·      Experience in the industrial, engineering, or manufacturing sector is an added advantage.

Salary:

400,000 – 500,000
