Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging mathematics lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and teaching aids.
- Assess students’ performance through classwork, assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
- Provide individualized support to students who need additional help.
- Maintain consistent classroom discipline and promote positive learning behavior.
- Keep accurate records of students’ academic progress and attendance.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
- Collaborate with other teachers to improve teaching strategies and curriculum delivery.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and other programs organized by the school.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance.
- Uphold all school policies, safeguarding standards, and academic expectations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field.
- Teaching qualification (NCE, PGDE, TRCN certification preferable).
- Minimum of 1 year teaching experience.
- Strong command of mathematical concepts
- Excellent classroom management
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use technology for teaching
- Patience, empathy, and strong instructional skills
- Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, ethical conduct, and integrity.
- Confidentiality and student welfare awareness.
Work Conditions
- Full-time, on-site role
