Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- each mathematics concepts appropriate to the grade level.
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Use various teaching methods (e.g., lectures, group work, interactive activities, technology-based tools) to accommodate different learning styles.
- Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students.
- Explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Prepare, administer, and grade tests, quizzes, and assignments.
- Track student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
- Identify students’ strengths and areas for improvement, providing additional support or challenges as needed.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Design and revise curriculum plans to meet educational standards and learning goals.
- Align lesson plans with school curriculum and standardized requirements.
- Integrate technology and modern educational tools into teaching when appropriate.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and productive learning environment.
- Enforce classroom rules and school policies consistently and fairly.
- Promote respectful behavior and collaboration among students.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to support student learning.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.
- Stay up to date with new teaching strategies, technologies, and changes in the math curriculum.
- Attend workshops, seminars, and courses to improve teaching effectiveness.
- Reflect on teaching practices and seek ways to improve student outcomes.
- Prepare reports, lesson plans, and other documentation.
- Assist with school events, clubs, or extracurricular activities related to math or general student development.
Requirements:
- Minimum BSc
- 2 years of previous work experience in similar role
