Massage Therapist

Responsibilities:

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions in accordance with client needs and company protocols
• Assess clients' medical history, physical condition, and specific concerns to determine suitable massage techniques
• Offer different types of massage, such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone, and Reflexology
• Maintain accurate client records, treatment notes, and progress documentation
• Educate clients on post-massage care, stretching, and relaxation techniques
• Uphold hygiene and sanitation standards in all treatment areas and tools
• Manage appointment schedules and ensure sessions start and end on time
• Promote additional treatments, memberships, or wellness products when appropriate
• Collaborate with other wellness professionals to support holistic care
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure a professional, welcoming client experience

Requirements:

• Certification or diploma in Massage Therapy from a recognized institution
• Valid massage therapy license/registration (as required by local regulations)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience (new graduates may be considered)
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Professional, reliable, and empathetic demeanor
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Physically fit and able to perform massage duties for extended periods
• Experience with spa software or appointment scheduling systems
