Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for farm produce and agro-allied products.
- Identify and develop relationships with retailers, distributors and other customers.
- Generate sales, follow up on leads and achieve agreed sales targets.
- Manage customer orders, enquiries and after-sales relationships.
- Promote products through direct marketing, social media and other appropriate channels.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing and customer preferences.
- Prepare regular sales reports and provide feedback on market opportunities.
Requirements:
- OND/HND/B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, Agricultural Economics or a related field.
- 1–3 years’ experience in sales/marketing, preferably in agriculture, FMCG or agro-allied products.
- Good communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
