Job Summary

Our client, a leading Supplier of Pharmaceutical Raw Materials, seeks a versatile and result-driven Marketing and Sales Officer to join the team. The Marketing and Sales Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing and sales strategies to promote the sales and supply of pharmaceutical raw materials and drive revenue growth. Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and sales plans to promote pharmaceutical raw materials, targeting key customer segments and markets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation, prospecting, and networking, to expand the company’s customer base and increase sales revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape, and use insights to refine marketing and sales strategies.
  • Coordinate sales activities, including customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations, to drive customer acquisition and achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing and sales initiatives, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to management to assess effectiveness and optimize strategies.


Requirements:

  • Diploma or BSc/HNDin Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing and sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of marketing and sales principles and techniques, including lead generation, and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and negotiate effectively.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software/tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to pharmaceutical marketing and sales (preferred).
  • Ability and flexibility to travel on short notice.
