Managing Director

Responsibilities:

• Provide overall strategic and executive leadership for the center, reporting to the Board of Directors
• Drive the hospital's strategic planning, growth strategy, and long-term institutional development
• Provide executive oversight of the Clinical Director and Hospital Administrator, ensuring coordinated clinical and business operations
• Lead fundraising, investor relations and stakeholder engagement, including reporting to promoters, investors and financial partners
• Oversee financial performance, budgeting and resource allocation across the organization
• Ensure regulatory compliance, quality assurance and accreditation (NNRA, MDCN, MLSCN, PCN, FCTA; COHSASA/ISQua/Joint Commission-aligned standards)
• Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, HMOs, technical partners and referral networks
• Champion organizational culture, governance and performance-driven management
• Represent the center at industry, regulatory and public engagements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Medicine, or a related field; a Master's degree (MBA/MHA) is strongly preferred
• Minimum of 15 years' progressive experience in hospital management, healthcare operations, or organizational leadership, including senior/executive leadership roles
• Demonstrated experience managing medium-to-large scale hospitals (100+ bed capacity or equivalent scale) is an advantage
• Professional certifications in Leadership and/or Quality Systems in Healthcare are an advantage
• Membership of a recognized professional body (e.g. Nigerian Institute of Management, Healthcare Federation of Nigeria) is an advantage
