Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee the daily operations of the department or business unit.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead, supervise, mentor, and motivate employees to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Set performance targets and conduct regular staff performance evaluations.
  • Monitor employee attendance, productivity, and adherence to company policies.
  • Prepare work schedules, allocate responsibilities, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Manage departmental budgets and monitor operational expenses.
  • Analyze business performance and prepare periodic operational and management reports.
  • Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve performance.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless business operations.
  • Monitor inventory, equipment, and company resources where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee development initiatives.
  • Resolve employee conflicts, customer complaints, and operational issues promptly and professionally.
  • Develop business improvement initiatives and recommend strategies for organizational growth.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure departmental objectives are achieved.
  • Represent the company during meetings, inspections, and stakeholder engagements when required.
  • Prepare and present management reports, business updates, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and performance-driven workplace culture.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Executive Management.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of an HND in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • A Master's Degree (MBA) or professional management certification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive management or supervisory experience.
  • Proven experience leading teams, managing operations, and achieving business targets.
  • Experience within the relevant industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent strategic planning and organizational abilities.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
  • Excellent project and operations management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and business reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business management software.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

  • Knowledge of performance management and KPI monitoring.
  • Ability to develop and implement policies and operational improvements.
