Steward

Responsibilities:

• Perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties within the household.
• Keep assigned areas clean, neat, organised, and well-maintained.
• Assist with laundry and other household tasks when required.
• Assist the cook or kitchen staff with food preparation and other kitchen duties.
• Wash and properly store dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Help with grocery unpacking, kitchen organisation, and restocking of supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and other household areas.
• Assist with serving meals and clearing the dining area when required.
• Handle household items and equipment carefully.
• Run basic household errands when necessary.
• Follow instructions from the employer and other household staff.
• Maintain professionalism, discretion, and respect for the privacy of the household.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a steward, housekeeper, domestic staff, kitchen assistant, or in a similar role is preferred.
• Must be hardworking, reliable, and responsible.
• Good knowledge of basic housekeeping and cleaning practices.
• Willingness to assist with kitchen duties.
• Must be clean, neat, respectful, and well-mannered.
• Good communication and ability to follow instructions.
• Must be organised and attentive to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a household team.
• Must demonstrate honesty, discretion, and respect for the employer’s privacy.
• Must be physically fit and able to carry out routine household duties.
