Hotel Runner

Responsibilities:

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen or service area to guests and designated locations.
• Assist waiters and other hotel staff with timely delivery of guest orders.
• Collect and return used plates, trays, and service equipment to the appropriate areas.
• Assist with setting up and clearing tables in restaurants, lounges, and event areas.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and deliver requested items to guest rooms or other hotel areas.
• Assist with transporting luggage, supplies, documents, and other items when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, corridors, and assigned workspaces.
• Support housekeeping and other departments with moving and delivering supplies.
• Ensure all items are handled carefully and delivered to the correct location.
• Report guest requests, complaints, damages, or unusual situations to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow hotel safety, hygiene, and service standards at all times.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or hotel management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an SSCE equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service environment is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods
• Excellent customer service and a polite, professional attitude.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy environment.
• Strong teamwork and reliability.
• Good personal hygiene and professional appearance.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Honesty, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
