Maintenance Officer

Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine inspection and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic electrical faults.
• Handle basic plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and carry out minor repairs on operational equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues and breakdowns.
• Maintain maintenance records and report recurring faults.
• Work with external technicians and engineers when specialized repairs are required.
• Ensure maintenance tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
• Support general facility maintenance and safety requirements.
• Carry out other technical duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of practical maintenance experience.
• Minimum of an HND or relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Basic plumbing knowledge and practical repair skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose basic equipment faults.
• Good practical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use basic maintenance tools safely.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in an operational environment.
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to maintenance issues.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• The ideal candidate should be young, technically skilled, hands-on, reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn. Practical ability and problem-solving skills are highly valued
• Male preferably.

Remuneration: NGN 200,000 Monthly gross
