Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage contractors, suppliers, maintenance budgets, spare parts, tools, and service agreements while maintaining good cost control.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  
• Monitor energy and water usage and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
  
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, schedules, equipment history, and inspection reports
  
• Promote a strong culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, preventive maintenance, and excellent guest service.
  
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, maintenance emergencies, and guest-related issues to minimize disruption and maintain a positive guest experience.
  
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and equipment remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
  
• Plan and manage preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, generators, kitchen equipment, elevators, fire systems, and other critical services.
  
• Oversee the daily maintenance and smooth operation of all hotel facilities, equipment, and building systems.
  

Requirements:    

• Minimum of an HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
  
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant maintenance or facilities management experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, generators, water systems, and general building maintenance.
  
• Proven experience supervising and leading a maintenance team
  
• Ability to manage contractors, budgets, maintenance schedules, and emergencies effectively.
  
• Practical, dependable, hands-on, and committed to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
