Maintenance Engineer

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and breakdowns.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical installations.
• Supervise electrical works and contractors on construction sites.
• Ensure electrical installations comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Monitor generators, distribution boards, lighting systems, and other electrical equipment.
• Prepare maintenance schedules and ensure timely servicing of equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, faults, and repairs.
• Identify potential electrical hazards and implement corrective measures.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of electrical tools and equipment.
• Provide technical reports and recommendations to management.

Requirements:

• HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction or facilities maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong communication and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
• COREN registration or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
