Logistics Officer
Job summary
The Logistics Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the storage and distribution of confectionery products to ensure timely delivery, product quality, and cost efficiency. This role is critical in maintaining freshness, preventing damage (e.g., melting or breakage), and ensuring smooth supply chain operations.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the transportation and timely delivery of products to customers and distributors
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records
- Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage, spoilage, or contamination
- Implement FIFO/FEFO principles for stock management
- Track shipments and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams to align supply with demand
- Prepare and maintain logistics documentation (delivery notes, waybills, inventory reports)
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Optimise delivery routes and manage logistics costs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in logistics, preferably in FMCG or food manufacturing
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics/ERP systems
- Knowledge of handling perishable or temperature-sensitive products is an advantage
