Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership for all logistics and business operations.
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
Oversee transportation, fleet, warehousing, inventory, and distribution operations.
Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Lead, mentor, and develop departmental managers and operational teams.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and manage annual budgets, operational costs, and financial performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and strategic partners.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Identify business development opportunities and support revenue growth initiatives.
Prepare management reports and present business performance to executive leadership.
Drive digital transformation and process optimization across logistics operations.
Manage risk, business continuity, and operational compliance.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
An MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CILT, PMP, APICS) is an added advantage.
Minimum of 8 years' experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or General Manager role.
Strong knowledge of transportation, fleet management, warehousing, procurement, and supply chain operations.
Proven experience managing large teams and multi-site operations.
Excellent financial management, budgeting, and business planning skills.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems, logistics software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
