Chef

Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner as required.
• Prepare a variety of Nigerian and continental dishes.
• Plan meals and ensure ingredients are available for daily cooking.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen.
• Properly store food items and manage kitchen supplies.
• Monitor food quality and freshness.
• Follow household preferences and dietary instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness of cooking equipment and work areas.
• Minimise food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
• Communicate professionally with the household and report any kitchen-related needs.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a private, household, or professional cook.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian and continental cuisine.
• Ability to prepare a variety of meals confidently and consistently.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good organisation and time-management skills.
• Must be reliable, respectful, neat, and trustworthy.
• Ability to work 5–6 days per week.
• Must be able to commute reliably to Asokoro, Abuja.
• References from previous employers will be an advantage.

Remuneration: NGN 150,000–170,000 Monthly
