Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and loving care for toddlers throughout the working day.
- Supervise and ensure the safety and wellbeing of the child/children at all times.
- Assist with feeding, bathing, dressing, and other daily childcare routines.
- Organise age-appropriate activities to support the child’s learning and development.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organised environment around the children.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with the parents regarding the children’s needs, activities, and progress.
- Follow the family’s routines, instructions, and childcare preferences.
- Assist with maintaining the children’s belongings, toys, and personal spaces.
- Be attentive to changes in the child’s behaviour, mood, appetite, or general wellbeing.
- Demonstrate patience, kindness, and professionalism at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience caring for toddlers is required.
- Excellent and fluent spoken English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be clean, neat, and highly organised.
- Must be respectful, responsible, trustworthy, and patient.
- Good understanding of toddler care and daily routines.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Must have a genuine love for children and a nurturing personality.
- Previous professional nanny or childcare experience is highly preferred.
- Must be reliable and committed to the role.
Remuneration: NGN 90,000 – 110,000 monthly
